1. My employer verification request was sent 4 days before closing. Should have been sent earlier to give some time for my HR to respond. This almost delayed my closing. 2. On the day of closing, a smoke certification was asked from the builder. This was not requested from any of the 6 neighbors who closed with the same builder and the same lender NJ Lenders. In around 3 hours, your processor withdrew this request. This delayed my closing 3. On the day of closing, the wiring of funds was delayed to the settlement agent 4. I locked the rate on Apr 13. The initial CD did not have the correct lock in period of 90 days. It had only 75 days. So, the loan processor assumed my lock expired after 75 days. I had to sent multiple emails to Chris to confirm the 90 day lock. Clear documentation in the first place saves all of us trouble and email chains. 5. When I locked the rate, I was told my credit check was valid for 6 months. But you did a credit check again just before my closing. Why was I misinformed? 6. You have to disclose the 2 home inspections you need when I made the first contact. This incurs fees I am paying. 7. You added 0.25 basis points in my final CD. This was not disclosed in my initial CD. After querying, you discounted this fees. Why was this added in the first place? 8. Josh and Mona are not reachable by phone. Why?

So Drew and Danaan were amazing. My only issue is the under writers. I entered into this cyclical process where I’d be asked for something. I’d provide it and then Drew and Danaan would pass it along and have to come right back to me and ask me for something else or a different version. If I was going to provide any feedback it would be more clarity in the initial request. IE if you need something and certain forms aren’t viable or you need a specific option like a PDF vs another type of file let the client know from the get go so they don’t need to repeat the same task multiple times. But that’s my only criticism. I was in a really tough place in life and Drew and Danaan made this loan happen to get me out of a really bad situation. I will always be thankful for that.
