Overall, it was a fine experience. I do think, however, at times that Mark could have been more consistent in his communications. Certainly a big element was that he did not advise us to lock a good rate when we had one (a miss that cost us thousands of dollars up front and hundreds every month). He could have offered the option to lock and float— the cost there would have been so small compared to where we are now. Then, once we did lock…. radio silence from the team on exact next steps, who was moving things along, what they needed from us, what date we would close. It was as if once he had the deal, he walked away and that was a bummer. Barely a congratulations.
Rickie was very helpful, answering every question I had. He was thorough, responsive, and kind.
